When cutting thick plates, the power is not enough to melt the entire plate. If the power can still be adjusted, you can increase the power and continue to test whether it can be cut off. If the power has been adjusted to the maximum, you need to replace the laser with a higher power.
If the focus is too up or too low, it will affect the cutting quality, and it can only be adjusted by inspection and adjusted according to the offset position.
The auxiliary gas can blow off the cutting slag and cool the heat affected zone of the cutting. If the air pressure is too low, the residue will not be blown out of the workpiece or the workpiece will not be cooled in time, resulting with slag. Adjust the air pressure to an appropriate requirement.
If the feed rate of laser cutting is too fast, the workpiece will not be cut off in time, the cutting surface will form diagonal stripes, and there will be slag in the lower half area. If the feed speed is too slow, over-melting will occur, the overall cut surface will be rough, the slit will become wider, and the upper part will have slag hanging.
